
Ho Ho Ho!!!
Sanilac Broadcasting is excited to give children across the Thumb and Blue Water area a chance to win a huge stocking stuffed to the brim with awesome toys, games, electronics and more! This stocking is over FIVE FEET TALL!!!
Contest is open to children ages 14 and under.
- To qualify, entrants will submit a Christmas story no more than 300 words (about a half page) long. Your story can be a few sentences long, or a few paragraphs. Be creative!
- Mom and dad can help type the story, but it must be written verbatim from how it is told–“kid lingo,” misplaced words and improper grammar are fine!
- Deadline for submission is Sunday, December 20th at 5:00 p.m.
- Select stories will be read by Stan Grabitz and Nick Lien during the WMIC and WTGV morning show and posted on this website throughout the month of December.
- Mrs. Clause and a few of Santa’s elves will be judging the story and will choose the funniest/most creative story.
- Winner will be announced on the WMIC and WTGV morning show Monday, December 21st after the 7:00 a.m. news (about 7:20 a.m.)
- The winner can pick up their stocking anytime during normal business hours (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. M-F) at our studios, 19 S. Elk Street, Sandusky, MI 48471
