The Festival Concert Series at First United Methodist Church of Port Huron, 828 Lapeer Ave., Port Huron will present the Brass Roots Trio “American Expressions” Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. The Brass Roots Trio has been entertaining fans around the US and UK for 20 years with their sensational programs, breathtaking virtuosity, and commentaries that are informative and often humorous. Their lively program “American Expressions” captures vignettes of the many cultures of America with music ranging from Aaron Copland’s “Rodeo” to Fats Waller’s “Alligator Crawl.” With three musicians and a variety of instruments–trumpet, flugelhorn, French horn, Native American flute, vocals and piano—Travis Heath, Douglas Lundeen and Rosetta Senkus Bacon infuse their music with exuberant energy. This will be a memorable conclusion to our 2025 series. Looking forward to YOU joining us for a great evening of music!

Tickets: Advance purchase $17, at the door $20, and student $5. Tickets can be purchased by calling the First United Methodist Church or at the Port Huron Music Center.
