They have the best record in the American League, but are they good enough to win a World Series? We might finally be done having to talk about the Lions' battle for backup QB! We attempt to dispense some Unsolicited Advice, and this might just be getting too easy. Why is Rob Manfred talking about MLB expansion? Sean thinks that if anything, we need to lose a couple teams. #91 is finally getting retired! Does this mean we'll be seeing more of Sergei Fedorov around the Red Wings organization? Urban Meyer waits until after punishment has been handed out to call for Jim Harbaugh's suspension... on a podcast and not his TV gig. So stunning. So brave. And we have a list of the 10 best rock songs of the last 25 years, and needless to say, this list may have been trash.

Wait... who let this guy in here? For some reason, Sean Cantwell from Happy Hour takes over the show today, and manages not to burn the place down.

We're back in the friendly confines of the studio after a month straight of being on the road! Lapeer Days was a good time all the way around. Hinder was fine... as long as you didn't expect the new singer to sound anything like the old one... or to not talk for ten minutes in between every song. We might narrowly avoid Armageddon... by about five million miles. Gen Z is apparently killing the idea of running a bar tab. We offer up some extra Unsolicited Advice! Let the kids go to the trampoline park; what's the worst that could happen? And not to be outdone, millennials are killing Las Vegas, and we're kinda fine with that.

We're broadcasting live from Lapeer Days! The NCAA finally lays down punishment on Michigan, and it's as underwhelming as you expected. Is it time for the Tigers to call up Kevin McGonagle? The Red Wings make a move, and nobody is impressed.

Now that Sean's taken over the ride home on 97.7 WTGV, he's got a little more time for the nonsense you've come to expect from him on Happy Hour. The Minnesota Twins have ensured they won't be challenging the Tigers for the AL Central anytime soon. Koegel's has saved Flint coney sauce, but... why? Sean loves dogs as much as anybody, but do we really need to bring them to restaurants? One guy very much does, apparently. Sean has had enough of door-to-door roof salesmen. Lapeer Days is this weekend, and it's quite possibly Sean's favorite weekend of the year. And it's Katherine Conlee's final week at WMIC and WTGV, so Sean takes it upon himself to give her a proper sendoff... and conduct her exit interview on the air.

We're on the road yet again, this time at the Port Sanilac Blues Festival, and we've dragged Skinner along with us! The Tigers made some moves at the deadline, but not the one we were really hoping to see. We subject Skinner to a round of Unsolicited Advice!

We're live at the Eastern Michigan State Fair, broadcasting from the Marlette RV mobile studio! We run down all the fun stuff going on at the fair this weekend. No, we're absolutely not giving more than 10 seconds of air time to Hulk Hogan. The Tigers have lost 11 of their last 12 games, but this is probably the best time for a losing streak to happen. What will they actually do before the trade deadline? We apparently flew too close to the sun and knocked out the power in the mobile studio. We attempt to do some Unsolicited Advice while Adam attempts to fix this. How do you address your friend's lack of hygiene? Two rather sweaty and well-fed gentlemen in way too close of quarters can't agree on the answer to that one. Can men and women really be platonic friends... that go out to dinner and don't invite their significant others?

The Athletic dropped their list of the 100 Greatest Rivalries In College Football, and a certain locally relevant rivalry came in at #1. Did they get it right? We do some more overtime on Unsolicited Advice. Adam attempts a round of This List Is Trash with the most valuable franchises in pro sports. How do you marry somebody without the other person agreeing to it? See you at the Eastern Michigan State Fair!

At 9:30 p.m. on January 22, 1984, Jerry Western was found with a single gunshot wound to the back in Colfax Township. As the first murder to have occurred in over six years in Huron County, it sent ripples through the community--especially since the contents of his pockets had been left in tact. In fact, the only thing that was stolen was his wedding ring. Who could have killed such a beloved member of the community, and why?

We enter the only time of the year with no sports to talk about... unless you count the Home Run Derby and MLB All-Star Game, which we don't. Is there even a point to still having all-star games in 2025? Sports leagues have already priced a lot of people out of attending games in person, are they about to do the same to watching them at home? Connor Stallions just won't go away. What would be the appropriate level of punishment for Michigan over this whole sign-stealing scandal? We may have gotten a bit carried away with the Unsolicited Advice this week. Couples who spend all their time together are just weird. We might not agree on whether it's cool to crash at your friend's place if you're married, but it's definitely not okay if said friend is your ex. And why do so many people try and talk you out of marriage just because they weren't good at it?

The death of Douglas Hendricks in 1973 remains unthinkable. He was 19 at the time and a resident of Lexington, having been found dead just outside of the Cadillac House. It was a little over 24 years later that his stepfather, Douglas Bowers, would disappear from Worth Township. The last time we visited this case, it was still under active investigation, and while it does still remain unsolved, we're going to be taking some time to reflect on things.

On February 4, 1976, the body of Carol Wudarcki was found in Worth Township. She had been struck by a snow plow mere minutes before being discovered by Mark Ernst, making it near impossible for investigators to determine her cause of death. What was curious, however, were the marks found on her ankles and wrists. Just what does Ernst have to do in all of this, and is it possible that he may (or may not) have murdered others, including Iris Johnston and Gladys Barron?
