How much do you really care about this year's Super Bowl? The Pistons should make a move at the deadline... but will they? What's the ceiling on this team if they don't make a move? The Red Wings hit a bit of a skid before the Olympic break. The only thing dumber than the backlash to the Super Bowl halftime show is the alternative halftime show that was just announced. Needless to say, we couldn't care less about either one. There's really only one halftime act that could truly unite this country, though. At least if Detroit gets a Super Bowl again, we've already proven we can put on a good show! The Grammys happened over the weekend, and we're at least familiar with a couple of the winners, but once again the definition of "metal" is skewed a bit. Oh, and the Tigers are homeless on TV this spring. Yay. At least you can listen on 97.7 WTGV?

Why do we have an extra week in between the NFL Conference Championship games and the Super Bowl? And we don't wanna hear a damn thing about the Pro Bowl. It seems inevitable that we're gonna end up with an 18th game... and international games for everyone. Yay. Tracy Morgan refuses to give money to a homeless dude that he went to school with, but he had a pretty damn good reason not to. Adam questions the guy's salesmanship and proposes better ways to make money on the street. We offer up some Unsolicited Advice to a woman whose friend is gaslighting her husband in the most ridiculous way possible, a woman whose wedding plans are being imploded by her soon-to-be sister-in-law, and a guy whose ex-mother-in-law wishes he'd have stayed with her daughter. Patrick Kane sets a record, and we have some potential trade targets for the Red Wings! Adam subjects Sean to a list, and we get sidetracked talking about Bill Belichick's Hall of Fame induction, or lack thereof. Plus a couple bonus bits

We also have a debate over whether Matt Stafford deserves to have his number retired by the Lions. You can probably guess where Sean comes down on that one. The Lions make another addition to the coaching staff, and Sean is convinced it means there might be some real moves on the player side this offseason. The Wings keep winning, and we go over more trade targets!

We're still recovering from our respective New Year's festivities. Sean and Adam are one comment away from being the subject of an upcoming Thumbing Through The Archives. Lapeer Main Street director Jim Alt drops by to tell us what's going on in downtown Lapeer. The Red Wings are still at the top of the Eastern Conference! We offer some Unsolicited Advice to a woman that hates her mother-in-law's cooking, and a "nice guy" that shows us all how nice he isn't. Have we ever mentioned how much we hate "nice guys?" Florida's now got an animal abuser registry. We're down with this idea, and have some suggestions of our own. And we close out the week with The Picks!

As you can imagine by the opener today, we're not exactly taking this Lions loss well. How do you lose to an undrafted rookie making his second NFL start, who is also awful? Brad Holmes needs to wake up quick if this team doesn't want their Super Bowl window to close. This team is really driving us to drink... Rochester Mills Brewery's 12 Days of Milkshake Stout, mostly. Before Sean strokes out on the air, we decide to dispense some Unsolicited Advice to an insufferable vegan couple and an insufferable couple that don't give Christmas gifts until they suddenly do. At least the Red Wings are still doing well? Are we the only people that are just fine with sports being played on Christmas Day? Or stores being open that day? Adam still has retail PTSD... and lemon meringue PTSD, evidently. Michigan has their new football coach, and while Sean doesn't understand why Warde Manuel was allowed to be the one to make the hire, he concedes that it was a pretty damn good hire. And for our Canadian friends on Boxing Day, we bring back This List Is Trash with a list of the greatest Canadian artists, brought to you by Rolling Stone, so you *know* it's gonna be trash! We finish out over on 97.7 WTGV, where Adam runs down the next Sessions Concert Series and Sean and Adam pick their favorite Canadian artists.

Well, that is not how anybody expected that game to end! These refs are trash. But that's not why you lost yesterday. Can the Lions still come back and make the playoffs? NFL Overreactions! And the Red Wings are once again first in the Atlantic! Can they really keep doing this?

It was a rough start to the day, to say the least... Sean barely made it through a blizzard in time to do Swap Shop! After encountering an entire family of deer standing in the road last night, it's time for the hunters out there to step up their game! Maybe they should just be riding around with Sean. The Lions absolutely need to win these last three games. They certainly have good odds against the Steelers! We dispense some Unsolicited Advice to a woman whose husband invited his parents to stay at their house for the week, and offer gift-giving ideas for the hopelessly depressed person in your life. This List Is Trash returns with the worst Christmas songs of all time! Are there Christmas songs Sean doesn't hate? Apparently, there's at least three. Drew joins us live on location from a blizzard to do The Picks, and we finally have the good sense to wait til after 7:00 to start doing this! Adam's guest for Sessions cancelled, so he sticks around for Sean's show on WTGV. Sean fills Adam in on the ongoing Roger Waters/Osbourne Family feud. Apparently Jake Paul's finally fighting a legit boxer tonight? We're not dreaming of a white Christmas... good thing, 'cause it looks like we're not getting one. Sean and Adam do their own rankings of bad Christmas songs. Skynyrd and Foreigner are going on the road next year... with zero original/classic lineup members between them. Why is this still a thing?

Never one to let something like a blizzard or the phones not working get in the way of hosting the show, Sean sits in for Eddie this afternoon...after a temporary change in phone number.

We're already done with winter, and it hasn't even started yet! Suffice it to say, Sean and Adam aren't dreaming of a white Christmas. The Lions have a complete defensive meltdown, and have given up control of their playoff destiny. Do you still think they can pull this off? We run down the week in NFL Overreactions! Has Josh Allen played his way to the top of the MVP odds? The Bengals just need to blow it all up. So do the Browns, honestly. We derail the Jacksonville/Trevor Lawrence hype train. Seattle had the opportunity to do the funniest thing this week, and barely avoided it. Does losing Micah Parsons kill the Packers' playoff hopes? Nobody wants to win the AFC North, still. The Red Wings waited way too long to shop Jonatan Berggren. They're calling up *who* to replace Patrick Kane? Grand Rapids is seriously doing *this* good? And maybe Adam was wrong about John Gibson after all?

Sherrone Moore is out as Michigan football head coach. That story escalated quickly... possibly the biggest sports story since we started doing this show! How does Warde Manuel still have a job? There's no way they can possibly let him hire the next coach, right? Who's in play to be the next coach at Michigan? Hell, who isn't? We offer up some Unsolicited Advice to someone who's always the party host from someone who's always the party host, a wine snob who's tired of sharing too much of the good stuff, and a dude who may be the biggest idiot we've advised all year. It's work holiday party season, and Sean and Adam are skipping theirs. Probably for the best for all parties involved. We close things off as always with The Picks!

The Lions pull off an improbable win and save their season! But at what cost? How confident do you feel about this team without Brian Branch the rest of the way? The latest toy craze is every bit as stupid as the last several. Except this time, it's the "adults" going crazy over them. Adam's attempt to buy practical Christmas gifts may be going a bit awry. Adam may finally be on Sean's side when it comes to Alexa... and technology in general. Are people dumber now, or are scammers just getting smarter? Unsolicited Advice goes a bit off the rails. Adam is still getting used to driving a truck... and driving in winter. Sean finally gets his wish: Jonathan Smith is out at MSU! They've already hired a new coach, and it's not the hire we expected. Nor did we expect Connor Stallions, of all people, to have the most rational take on this hire! Lane Kiffin abandoning his team before a playoff appearance is just another symptom of what's wrong with college football in 2025. Michigan looked competitive against Ohio State... for about three drives. Is Sherrone Moore on the hot seat in 2026? The Red Wings have dropped four straight... and Adam admits he may have been wrong about the goaltending situation. What would you give up to get Quinn Hughes in Detroit? NFL Overreactions! Does anybody want to win the AFC North? Are the AFC and NFC South not as sewn up as we thought? Do we have to give Chicago respect now? Worse yet, do we have to do the same to the Cowboys?

Adam's got a bit of PTSD from Thanksgiving and Black Friday shoppers, but at least he's got a new TV to show for it? They just don't make TV's and other appliances like they used to. We may need to raid the Cavalcade studio to get Sean his new beer fridge! The Lions are doing their best to throw the NFC North race, but the way Chicago is playing, they might not even need to. Our contingency plan was apparently waiting too long to coax Frank Ragnow out of retirement. That'll solve everything, right? Can we admit that maybe we miss Ben Johnson a little? At least the halftime show was decent! And unlike Ravens fans, we got to see more than three seconds of our halftime show on TV. We dispense some Unsolicited Advice, featuring some less-than-stellar housing accommodations for visiting relatives, the most ungrateful dinner guests ever, and a guy whose longtime girlfriend is attending a wedding and leaving him at home. And, of course, The Picks, which once again run way over time.
