A Carsonville man sustained possible injuries in a single-vehicle crash last Thursday in Sanilac County’s Minden Township.
Sanilac County Central Dispatch received a call shortly after 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 18, reporting a single-vehicle crash on Bay City Forestville Road near Obee Road in Minden Township. Deputies, along with Sanilac EMS and the Minden City and Delaware Township Fire Departments, were dispatched to the scene.
Initial investigation determined that a 2013 Dodge Journey, driven by a 30-year-old Carsonville man, was traveling westbound on Bay City Forestville Road when the vehicle left the roadway to the right and entered the ditch.
The driver was wearing his seatbelt, sustained possible injuries, and was transported by Sanilac EMS to McLaren Thumb Region Hospital for treatment. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this crash.
