Suspect arraigned Friday for Tuesday domestic shooting in Marine City

The suspect who injured another person during a domestic shooting last Tuesday has been identified and arraigned, according to Marine City Police.

55-year-old Christine Hurley-Arnold was arraigned on Friday, November 14 on five counts related to a domestic shooting in the 500 block of South Elizabeth Street in Marine City on Tuesday, November 11. The shooting saw one person injured and needing medical attention after Hurley-Arnold allegedly shot them in the lower leg.

Hurley-Arnold is currently being held in custody on a $50,000 cash/surety/10% bond. She is charged with four felonies, including discharging a weapon in a building causing serious impairment, a felony firearm count attached to the prior charge, assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, and a felony firearm count attached to that charge as well. She is also facing a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence.

She will appear in court again on November 26, 2025 for her probable cause conference.
