Marlette’s City Council will hold a public hearing during its meeting next Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 6:00 pm at City Hall, 6436 Morris Street, Marlette, MI. 48453.
Comments and discussion will be taken at the public hearing regarding the proposed text amendment to the city of Marlette’s zoning ordinance to permit certain marihuana growers, marihuana retailers, and marihuana provisioning centers as a special use within the “M” industry and manufacturing zone, if granted a license to operate by the city of Marlette.
After the public hearing, the Marlette City Council may vote to adopt, modify or reject the proposed text amendment to the City of Marlette Zoning Ordinance. Citizens are invited to attend this hearing.
If you are unable to attend, all materials relating to this proposed amendment may be examined and written comments may be submitted to the City Clerk, Rebecca Slater at City Hall by October 8th at 3 PM.
