For Armed Forces Day Concert & Auction

As our country pays tribute to the military personnel serving in the United States Armed Forces on the 3rd Saturday of May, the Veterans Esteem Team will be hosting the 126th Army Band for their 2025 Armed Forces Day Concert and Auction. The event is on May 17 at American Legion Post #16, 1701 W. Genesee, Lapeer, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. (front entrance). Admission is FREE and EVERYONE is invited to attend! Included will be the concert by the 126th Army Band, the Benefit Auction to raise funds for the 10th Anniversary of the Veterans Appreciation Dinner Event on November 1 in Frankenmuth, a student craft and bake sale, and snacks and beverages. John Tomaschko with JRT Thumb Auctioneers will be conducting a live auction of several items donated by area businesses including Country Smokehouse, Indigo Farms, Paul Rhein Disposal, EG Nicks, Self Serve Lumber, Good Year Tire, Office Depot, Planet Fitness, Pet Supplies Plus, NCG Cinemas, Vinckier Foods, Ben’s Great Outdoors, and more!
