The Cavalcade Radio Hour is back on WMIC 660-AM and 95.3-FM! The weekly program is on the air again with new episodes celebrating the “Golden Era” of recordings. Host Kevin Piotrowski brings the sounds of the mid-20th century to listeners each Saturday morning with a mix of music not heard anywhere else.
Most of what is played on the Cavalcade Radio Hour comes directly off the original vinyl recordings from the Cavalcade music library, a 50-year collection of recordings across many genres of music. Each program includes a special “Cavalcade Spotlight” segment that focuses on a singer, songwriter, musical instrument, style of music, or some other theme. The Spotlight segment always kicks off the second half of the program.
