Annual EEO Public File Report

This Annual EEO Public File Report is filed on behalf of WMIC AM, and WTGV-FM, in
compliance with the FCC’S EEO reporting requirements. WMIC, AND WTGV-FM, are
licensed to Sanilac Broadcasting Company, and also share at least one employee
with WBGV-FM, Marlette, which is owned by G.B. Broadcasting with which we have
a Broker Agreement.
This Report includes information from May 21, 2024 through May 20, 2025, and is
being placed in the Stations’ public files.
WMIC and WTGV-FM have an on-going internship program with Sandusky, Marlette
Peck, Croswell-Lexington, and Carsonville-Port Sanilac schools. All interns have
been paid for all of the time they learned as they worked. These programs are
designed to assist qualified students in acquiring skills needed for employment in
the broadcast industry. Many of these former interns go on to various colleges to
pursue Radio and TV careers, and some have come back to work full time here at
Sanilac Broadcasting.
A former student of Croswell-Lexington high school who interned in the past continued her part-time position at Sanilac Broadcasting while attending college.
A full-time sales representative was hired in August of 2024 for a position posted on the station’s website, Indeed and various online job posting boards. Two respondents were interviewed for the position, with one applicant being hired.
WMIC, WTGV-FM and WBGV-FM are equal opportunity employers that are

Among the agencies used for recruitment included the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Job Bank, national and local minority and professional organizations, local newspapers, online and social media, and schools and colleges throughout Michigan as well as on our website, www.sanilacbroadcasting.com.
We will continue to actively seek out new recruitment sources to ensure that word
of all job openings is distributed to a diverse selection of applicants. We encourage
Organizations that refer prospective candidates to contact us so that they may be
placed on our mailing list.
In compliance with the EEO record keeping requirements, we have created a file for
each position filled. This file contains resumes for all people interviewed for the
open job.
WMIC, WTGV-FM will regularly assess and improve recruitment methods and
sources by measuring their effectiveness and making needed changes.
APPENDIX ONE
General Manager Bob Armstrong has overall responsibility for Equal Employment Opportunities at the radio stations.
Sanilac Broadcasting participates in area job fairs and educational events in conjunction with area schools.
Numerous area civic, nonprofit and educational organizations have appeared on all three of our radio stations throughout the year.
Students from various schools and social programs have job-shadowed with WMIC and WTGV staff throughout the year. We have partnered with the Sanilac County Intermediate School District and the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity.
