(HURON COUNTY) — Huron County Sheriff Kelly Hanson has announced his intent to seek re-election. If re-elected, Sheriff Hanson says he will continue to be committed to accountability, efficiency, being straightforward, approachable, and committed to fair and equal law enforcement. He noted that he has maintained an open door policy with the deputies, the Board of Commissioners, other elected officials, community leaders and the citizens of Huron County either in person, by phone or letter. Hanson has been with the Huron County Sheriff’s Department for 33-years and has served as Sheriff for the past 7-years.
