(WISNER TOWNSHIP) — Tuscola County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a bar employee Saturday after she lied to authorities about being robbed by knife point. Deputies were sent to the bar, located on M-25 in Wisner Township, shortly before 11 p.m. The woman stated that two men had robbed her of over $300 in cash and gave a description of the suspects, saying they had left the scene towards Bay City. During their investigation, deputies learned that the woman had made a false police report. The money in question was recovered and the woman was arrested. Charges are being sought through the Tuscola County Prosecutors Office.
