Michigan State Troopers with the Caro Post arrested their person of interest in the suspected Wednesday night murder of a 41-year-old man from Vassar Township.
Jeffrey Stephan Evans, age 41, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, a few hours after state police told the public to keep an eye out for him, calling him “armed and dangerous.”
The death Evans is being questioned about was reported about 11:00 p.m. on March 1, from inside a residence in the 4000 block of Kirk Road, with the male victim being found shot dead at the scene.
With no information given about the deceased, Michigan State Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Caro Post at 989-673-2156.
