Buel Township murder suspects bound over to Circuit Court

Court proceedings continued this week for the brother and sister accused of fatally injuring a fellow co-worker in an incident in Flynn Township September 1st. 20-year old Leobardo-Torres-Castillo and 33-year old Francisca Vargas-Castillo were bound over to Circuit Court after witnesses testified of an alleged beating and stabbing that left 43-year old Bricia Flores-Rivera dead. Later the same day, her body was found in a ditch along Sheridan Road in Buel Township by investigators, 20 miles from the scene of the alleged crime. The siblings will be arraigned in Circuit Court next month and are being held in the Sanilac County jail on a one million dollar bond each.
