Seven Arrested in Drug Investigation

Multiple law enforcement agencies were involved in an alleged drug investigation in the Marlette area late last week, resulting in the arrests of seven people ranging in age from 22 years old to 57 years old. In addition, three vehicles were impounded and lab testing is being done before additional charges could be filed. According to Sanilac County DTF Director Jim Johnson, all of the people, except one from Sandusky, were from the Marlette area. Three of the people; 28-year old Jillian Palmer of Sandusky, 26-year old Michael Eppenbrock of Marlette and 29-year old Kenneth Kientz of Marlette, were arraigned on Possession of Cocaine charges. Assisting the DTF were Michigan State Police, marlette police and the Sanilac County road patrol division.
