(PORT SANILAC) — A Clinton Township man, riding his bicycle in Port Sanilac Sunday morning, was struck by a pickup truck. Sanilac County Sheriff’s deputies say the incident took place around 10 a.m. The Dodge Ram pickup, driven by 41-year old Chad Hooper of Port Sanilac, was traveling west on Cedar Street and approached the intersection with Lake Street. The pickup had the right of way and continued through the intersection when a bicycle, driven by 59-year old Bill Blazinski, failed to yield at the stop sign and was struck. Deputies say the Clinton Township man was taken to McKenzie Health System by a family member for treatment of possible injuries. Alcohol was not a factor in the incident.
