No injuries have been reported following a structure fire in Lexington last night.
Lexington Fire Department reports it dispatched three fire engines around 9:25 p.m. on Monday, June 1, to a reported structure fire in the 7200 block of Lake Street. Upon arrival, Lexington crews found a residential structure with moderate fire in the eaves of the second story.
Crews deployed two attack lines, with one line focused on the exterior and the other on the interior of the house. The exterior line’s crew was able to knock down the bulk of the fire while the interior crew found little extension into the interior of the home.
Crews remained on scene for about 1 hour, overhauling and checking for any other extension.
Mutual aid was provided by Croswell Fire and Croswell EMS, with the Lexington Police also on scene.
