The Port Huron Police Department reports that only one local business was not in compliance during a check yesterday focusing on underage sales of alcohol to minors.

During the operation conducted on Tuesday, May 12, police sent underage decoys into 31 Port Huron stores licensed by the Michigan Liquor Control Commission to sell alcohol. While the other 30 businesses passed the compliance check by refusing to sell alcohol to the decoys, Kroger at 2907 Krafft Road in Port Huron failed the test.

The Port Huron Police Department would like to thank all stores found to be in compliance, and encourages all licensed establishments to check IDs to prevent the use of alcohol by underage minors.
