Sanilac County Sheriff Deputies also responded to another collision last week, with a Marlette woman requiring medical attention following a two-vehicle crash on Thursday, November 20.

Sanilac County Central Dispatch was contacted shortly before 2:40 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, with a report of a two-vehicle crash on Decker Road and French Line Road in Marlette Township. Deputies, along with the Marlette Fire Department and Aspire Rural Health Systems EMS, responded to the scene.

Initial investigation determined that a 2014 Ford Escape, driven by a 61-year-old Marlette woman, was southbound on Decker Road when she was struck by an eastbound 2018 Chevrolet Silverado that did not stop at the stop sign. The Silverado was being driven by a 60-year-old Croswell woman.

The Marlette woman was treated on scene by Aspire RHS EMS before transport to Aspire RHS Marlette Hospital. The Croswell woman was not injured.
