Croswell man hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries following Friday morning collision

A 68-year-old Croswell man required transport for non-life-threatening injuries following a collision Friday morning.

Sanilac County Central Dispatch was contacted shortly after 7:30 a.m. on Friday, November 21, with a report of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Peck Road and Davis Street in the City of Croswell. Sanilac County Sheriff Deputies, along with the Croswell Fire Department and Croswell EMS, were dispatched to the scene.

Initial investigation determined that a 2011 Buick, driven by a 68-year-old Croswell man, was traveling northbound on Davis Street when the driver failed to yield at the signed intersection. The Buick then struck a westbound 2010 Ford being driven by another 68-year-old Croswell man.

The at-fault driver was treated on scene by Croswell EMS and transported to McLaren Port Huron for non-life-threatening injuries while the driver of the Ford was treated at the scene and declined further medical treatment.
