The Ubly Community Schools’ superintendent is reassuring parents after a vehicle struck the district’s preschool building yesterday morning.

According to a social media post by Superintendent Troy Reehl on Tuesday, October 28, the incident occurred some time around 10: 45 a.m., when a small truck traveling north on M-19 veered off the road and struck the building’s south corner, which is shared with the school’s three-year-olds’ classroom.

No injuries were reported, with all children safe. At the time of the incident, children had been preparing to come inside and were not impacted by the accident, though support and assistance was still offered to families by preschool staff following the incident.
