The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Olivia Saldana as the 2025 recipient of the Dale Ferguson Memorial Scholarship.
Olivia Saldana, daughter of Corina Saldana, is a graduate of Peck High School. During high school, she was involved in cheerleading, track, volleyball and Student Council. Olivia is attending Grand Valley State University pursuing a degree in Social Work.
The Dale Ferguson Memorial Scholarship was created by his family, in memory of Dale, who was a lifelong area resident, a member of the Brown City Masonic Lodge #409, and active in the Peck Schools Boosters Club. He served as Maintenance and Custodian Supervisor at Peck Community Schools until his retirement in 2009. It is awarded to a graduating senior from Peck High School who maintains a minimum GPA of 2.5.
