DTE Energy crews will be performing overhead utility work south of I-94 at Marysville’s Gratiot Road Exit 266.
This work will require closing and detouring I-94 for 12 hours. The closure will begin at 6 a.m. on Sunday, October 19, and is expected to end by 6 p.m. that evening.I-94 traffic will be detoured at Wadhams Road Exit 262 and Gratiot Road Exit 266.
The posted detour route will include Wadhams Road and Gratiot Avenue.
Closing the interstate during this type of overhead utility work is necessary to keep motorists and workers safe.
