Brown City grad Kayiah Browning announced as Barbara Wolfe Magenheim Scholarship winner

The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Kayiah Browning as the 2025 recipient of the Barbara Wolfe Magenheim Scholarship.

Kayiah Browning, daughter of Harold and Jayme Browning, is a graduate of Brown City High School, where she was the Class of 2025 Salutatorian. During high school, she participated in volleyball and cheerleading, served as Vice President of the National Honor Society, President of her graduating class, and Editor of the Yearbook. Kayiah is attending St. Clair County Community College where she is pursuing a degree in Nursing.

The Barbara Wolfe Magenheim Scholarship was established to commemorate the accomplishments of Dr. Barbara Wolfe Magenheim and her love of education and the field of Nursing. This scholarship is awarded to Sanilac County graduating seniors who have a 3.0 GPA or greater and are pursuing a career in healthcare. Preference is given to graduating seniors of Carsonville-Port Sanilac High School.
