The Monkees’ fourth studio album, Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd, is set to be reissued on vinyl and as a massive deluxe box set.

The vinyl reissue, coming Friday, is part of the Rhino High Fidelity series, and was pressed from the original analog stereo master reels, something that has never been done before due to the difficulty accessing the original masters. The reissue is limited to 5,000 individually numbered copies and will be available at Rhino.com.

And for the true Monkees fan, Rhino will also be releasing a super deluxe edition of the album, featuring more than 100 tracks, and plenty of bonus material. The four-CD set comes with the original mono and stereo mixes of the album, along with new stereo and alternate mono mixes.

There are also two CDs, made up of previously unreleased session recordings, demos, outtakes and backing tracks, as well as television mixes that are getting their first-ever physical release. Plus, the set comes with a 7-inch single featuring previously unreleased mono mixes of “Love Is Only Sleeping” and “Goin’ Down.”

There are also new liner notes from Andrew Sandoval, who produced the box set, and a 32-page booklet featuring rare photos and more.

It is available now at Monkees.com.

Released in November 1967, Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd, features the classic Monkees hit “Pleasant Valley Sunday,” which peaked at #3 on the singles chart. The album was the fourth consecutive #1 for the band — made up of Micky Dolenz, Davy Jones, Michael Nesmith, and Peter Tork — and went on to sell over 3 million copies.
