The Sanilac Women Who Care Committee, a program of the Sanilac County Community Foundation (SCCF), is rolling out the red carpet for its 13th annual collective giving event on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the Lexington Village Theatre.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m., with the spotlight shining on presentations beginning at 7:00 p.m. For just $100, attendees become part of a high-energy giving circle and enjoy a night filled with beverage service, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, live music, professional photography, and unforgettable networking.
Register early at www.SanilacWomenWhoCare.org for a breezy check-in experience. Pay your way — online, by check, or at the door — and be ready to step into a night of celebration. The stage will come alive with GlenBrooke Music, a local woman musician, with the night’s keynote address to be delivered by Kendra Jickling, Marlette Tri-County Bank Branch Manager and Trustee for the Community Foundation.
Three lucky guests will be drawn to pitch a cause they love or nominate a nonprofit on the spot. Nonprofits can be proposed right then and there, keeping the energy spontaneous and electric. From 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., nonprofits will be on hand to mingle and share their stories. After the pitches, the power is in the room: every attendee votes to decide where the grant dollars go. Guests will also have the chance to win beautiful floral arrangements and even a short-term MiCasa Stays rental, adding extra excitement to the evening.
