Michigan State Troopers with the Caro Post are investigating a shooting that occurred Saturday night in Tuscola County’s Vassar Township.
The shooting occurred about 10:00PM on Saturday, September 13, at a residence in the 4400 block of O’Brien Road.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a 25 year-old woman and a 46 year-old woman were both shot during an altercation between the homeowners and an acquaintance. Both women were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
This incident remains under investigation. There is no ongoing threat to the public.
