
The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that happened Saturday night in Port Huron Township.
St. Clair County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a local establishment on Saturday, August 30, after a homeless male walked in with a gunshot wound to his arm. Deputies arrived on scene and immediately began rendering aid to the individual, applying a tourniquet due to the excessive bleeding.
Tri-Hospital EMS arrived on scene, along with Port Huron Twp. Fire Department, and transported the man to McLaren Macomb for treatment.
Marysville PD K9 performed a track which led law enforcement to a wooded area at 28th and Oak Streets. No individuals were located in the area and the victim was unable to give a description of the suspect.
