29-year-old Sandusky woman arrested for crack cocaine, methamphetamine possession

The Sanilac County Drug Task Force announced an arrest last week as part of an ongoing investigation into illegal narcotics sales.

The task force conducted a traffic stop in Brown City last Thursday, August 14, 2025, shortly after 11:00 p.m. The stop occurred on Main Street, near McMorran Street., as part of a monthlong investigation.

The driver, a 29-year-old Sandusky woman, was asked to step out of the vehicle and initially complied. However, a short time later, the woman ran back to the vehicle in an effort to flee. She was taken into custody.

A subsequent search of the vehicle using the Drug Task Force K9 resulted in locating a dealer’s amount of suspected Methamphetamine and Crack Cocaine. The suspect was lodged at the Sanilac County Jail and is awaiting arraignment on multiple charges. The Sanilac County Drug Task Force was assisted on scene by the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office.

This is an ongoing investigation and no additional information is being released at this time.
