Sandusky man arrested for selling prescription drugs

The Sanilac County Drug Task Force concluded an investigation last week into the sales of prescription medications by a Sandusky man.

The investigation was conducted over the past 2 months and found that the prescription substance Suboxone was being sold out of the home in the 100 block of East Speaker Street in Sandusky. As part of the investigation, arrest warrants were sought for the suspect, a 33-year-old man.

During the arrest, a search warrant was also executed at the Speaker Street residence. Suboxone and suspected methamphetamine, along with evidence of drug sales, was located during the search.

The Sanilac County Drug Task Force was assisted in this investigation by the St. Clair County Drug Task Force, Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office and Sandusky Police Department. No further details are being released at this time.
