McKenzie Health System is excited to continue its Healthy Living Together series with a fun and engaging session titled “Cooking with Kids” on Wednesday, July 16, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.

The event will take place in the McKenzie Health System Dining Room, located at 120 Delaware Street, Sandusky, MI 48471, with lunch available for $5. A virtual attendance option via Zoom is also available for those who prefer to join remotely.

To encourage community members to take advantage of this resource, Great Start Collaborative Sanilac has offered to purchase the meals for the first 15 in-person attendees.

Erin Carlson, a teacher and sponsor for both Key Club and National Honor Society at Sandusky Community Schools, will lead the session. Erin will share creative ways to involve children in the kitchen—encouraging healthy eating habits, teaching basic cooking skills, and making mealtime more fun and meaningful for families.

The event is free and open to the public. To register for either in-person or virtual attendance, please visit www.McKenzieHealth.org/Healthy-Living and follow the instructions on the event page for your preferred option or call 810-648-6127.
