Bad Axe Police are investigating a suspected drug overdose death of an out of state man.
According to a recent press release, Officer Brianna Emming responded around 6:30 p.m. this past Sunday, March 12, to the Anderson Apartments in Bad Axe, finding a 20-year-old man from Ohio suffering from a possible drug overdose.
Though life saving measures, such as CPR and NARCAN, were attempted, the man was later pronounced deceased. His name is being withheld as the investigation continues.
The Bad Axe Police were assisted at the scene by the Huron County Sheriff’s Office, the Huron County Drug Task Force and Central Huron Ambulance.
