
Port Huron Police report that suspects in Wednesday’s robbery at the Walgreens on 10th Street were caught within the day after police obtained their descriptions.
52-year-old Jerome Milton and 31-year-old John Dubie, both of Port Huron, were arrested after police found and surveilled a home in the 1500 block of 9th Street, catching the men as they left the house. With evidence found on them during their arrest, the men were lodged at the St. Clair County Intervention Center and arraigned the next day, January 5, in county district court.
Milton is charged with armed robbery, possession of a dangerous weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and received notice as a habitual offender, with his bond set at $100,000. Dubie, meanwhile, was charged with robbery and habitual offender notice.
Assisting in the investigation were the Port Huron Police’s Road Patrol, Major Crimes Unit and Criminal Investigative Division, as well as Marysville Police, Michigan State Police, and the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office.
