Croswell man arrested; facing multiple charges

(LAPEER COUNTY) – A 53-year old Croswell man found himself in trouble with the law late last month while driving in Lapeer County’s Arcadia Township.
According to authorities, a DNR officer attempted to stop the man’s vehicle that was operating with an invalid license plate on June 24th.
The Croswell man fled from the officer, driving through several communities including Imlay City before eventually becoming stuck in a soybean field north of Imlay City.
The man then fled on foot but was caught by the officer after a short foot chase.
The man is now lodged in the Lapeer County jail and is facing multiple charges including fleeing and eluding and narcotic charges.
The DNR was assisted by the Lapeer County Sheriff Department and police officers from Imlay City and Dryden Township.
