A Kingston man led police on a 13-mile high speed chase in Tuscola County over the weekend, landing the 59-year old man in jail once taken into custody. According to investigators, deputies attempted to make a traffic stop near the intersection of Hurds Corner Road and Sanilac Avenue shortly after midnight Friday. The suspect fled the stop as deputies tried to make contact for the man speeding. Kingston police assisted Tuscola County deputies by deploying spike strips in effort to get the suspect vehicle stopped. The man eventually stopped for deputies and was taken into custody and is now facing multiple charges including driving under the influence of drugs and possession of cocaine. Further court action is pending.
