(CAPAC) – A boil water alert has been issued for the Village of Capac. According to Village Clerk Lisa Lulis, the village offices began receiving phone calls about low water pressure shortly after 3 pm Tuesday.
Lulis said a watermain break was discovered on Meier Street, on the south side of the village, although the alert is in affect for the entire village.
She said DPW crews are working on making repairs late Tuesday afternoon and the alert remains in effect until further notice.
