Fire investigators are seeking information on causes of fires in Port Huron and Port Huron Township Monday night that caused serious damage to two homes. In Port Huron, fire crews responded to a three-alarm blaze in a home on Miller Street around 6 p.m. No one was home at the time of the fire but three family pets were killed in the blaze. Firefighters from Port Huron, Port Huron Township and responded to blaze. The second fire, in Port Huron Township fire was reported around 9 p.m. Monday near the intersection of Dove and Range Roads. Firemen from three departments spend three hours extinguishing the flames. The City of Port Huron and Kimball Township fire departments assisted at the scene.
