DTF execute search warrants; 3 adults arrested

DTF arrests 3 adult males

 

(PORT HURON) – The St. Clair County Drug Task Force was investigating the sales of heroin and crack cocaine in the city of Port Huron when a traffic stop was conducted at 10th street and Lapeer late Thursday evening. The vehicle was being driven by a 20-year old male from Port Huron.

Following the traffic stop, DTF executed two search warrants with the assistance of the St. Clair County Special Response Team. The warrants were in the 3100 block of Military and the 1400 block of 12th street.

A 20-year old male was arrested at the scene of the traffic stop. Later, at his residence on Military, DTF agents arrested a second 20-year old male for possession of marijuana.

In the home, DTF seized marijuana, a hand gun, ammunition, drug paraphernalia, razor blades, US currency and cutting agents. The hand gun had been reported stolen out of the city of Mount Clemens. He faces charges of possession of marijuana, felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, maintaining a drug house and habitual offender.

SRT and DTF executed a second search warrant in the 1400 block following the traffic stop and located a 33-year old male from Detroit, a 48-year old female and a juvenile. The 33-year old male had an outstanding felony warrant for possession of cocaine out of the city of Port Huron. The female and juvenile were released from the scene and Child Protective Services were notified. Police located a large amount of marijuana, scales and packaging material.

All three men are facing multiple drug related charges and are lodged in the St. Clair County jail.
