A two vehicle accident Monday evening sent a Marlette man to the hospital after the tractor he was driving flipped over in to a ditch. According to the Sanilac County sheriff department, a 32-year old Sandusky man struck the rear of the tractor while driving on Frenchline Road in Marlette Township around 10:30 p.m. The tractor was driven by a 26-year-old man from Marlette. Police said the accident caused substantial damage to both vehicles involved. The driver of the tractor was transported to Marlette Regional Hospital for treatment of his injuries while the driver of the Ford Mustang was taken to McKenzie Health Systems. The names are being withheld pending further investigation of this accident.
