Police have found what they believe to be crystal meth in a home in Imlay Township after agents from Thumb Narcotics followed up on a lead. The suspect, formerly of Alabama, has a history of what police called meth-related convictions. During their search of the home last week, agents discovered remnants of crystal meth production and possible meth product which has been sent out for testing. The suspect, currently lodged in the Lapeer County Jail on unrelated charges, may be facing additional drug charges, pending lab results.
