Police seek armed robbery suspect

The Sanilac County Sheriff Department is investigating an armed robbery that took place Tuesday morning around 3:30 a.m. According to police, they received a call from an employee at the Valero gas station on Main Street in Lexington, stating they had just been robbed at gunpoint. Deputies from the sheriff department, along with officers from Croswell and Port Huron responded to the scene. Investigators believe a white male, in his 20s or 30s entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded cash and lottery tickets.

The suspect then fled the store on foot, heading south from the scene.
