Mobile Meth lab discovered by police

A mobile meth lab was discovered, following a traffic stop by the Sanilac County DTF and road patrol deputies at the intersection of Decker Rd. and Frenchline Rd. in Marlette Township, Tuesday around 4 p.m. Police said a 36-year old Sandusky man was observed by DTF agents driving without a valid driver’s license. The agency had knowledge of the suspect from a prior arrest and investigation related to Methamphetamine charges. Police were able to observe and seize items in the vehicle directly related to the illegal production of a Methamphetamine Lab.
The suspect, and lone occupant at the time, was arrested for not having a valid license and for the suspected Methamphetamine and the meth production components seized. Violation of bond conditions for the previous drug charges are also being sought.
