It will still be a while before it happens, but the Village of Capac will be seeing more construction on their main thoroughfare within the year. City officials recently approved a payment of $28,500 for design engineering services for the project which is projected to cost in excess of $380,000. Capac’s share of the project will be approximately $76,000. Both ends of Main Street, to the north and south of the village limits, will be reconstructed in April of 2018.
The project is expected to go out to bid in December of this year.
