Two more arraigned in robbery case

SANDUSKY — Two more suspects plead not guilty earlier this week after being accused of robbing victims at gunpoint and stealing money and marijuana and are now going to trail March 7. Sanilac County Circuit Court Judge Donald A Teeple arraigned co-defendants Devin C. Hacker, 20, of Bad Axe, and Devin Cooper, 20, of Harbor Beach, Monday. The duo were charged with three counts of armed robbery, one count of home-invasion and one count of weapons felony firearms stemming from an armed robbery in Sanilac County this past November.

On Nov. 11, police responded to a call from a man about his Minden Township home being robbed. An undisclosed amount of money and medical marijuana was stolen from the home. The homeowner said men in ski masks robbed his home and one suspect held three victims, who were inside the home during the robbery, at gunpoint.

A third suspect, Lucas Flygare, 26, of Rosebush, pleaded not guilty last week and will appear for trial on March 7 as well. Terrance M. Dubs, 19, of Bad Axe admitted his involvement in the armed robbery by accepting a plea agreement in December.

As part of the agreement, Dubs must truthfully testify at the three codefendant’s trials. Dubs is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 9 and faces up to 15 years in prison
