Suspects appear in Sanilac County court

(Sandusky) – At least one trial will be held regarding an alleged armed robbery, where victims were held at gunpoint and marijuana and money was stolen in a Sanilac County home. Lucas Flygare, of Rosebush, appeared in Sanilac County Circuit Court earlier this week for his arraignment. Flygare, 26,  was charged with two counts of armed robbery, one count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, home invasion-first degree and felony firearms stemming from a robbery at a residence in Minden City in November.  He plead not guilty to all charges and is scheduled to go to trial which is set for March 7 and expected to last three to four days.  A final pretrial is set for February 13th with bond continued at $50,000. As of Wednesday, Flygare remains in jail.

Sanilac County deputies received a call from a man regarding his Minden Township home being robbed in early November. The homeowner said men in ski masks robbed his home and one suspect held three victims at gunpoint. Police said an undisclosed amount of money and medical marijuana was stolen from the home.

Following an investigation, authorities arrested Flygare, Devin Cooper, 20, of Harbor Beach and Terrance Dubs, 19, of Owendale. According to police, one of the people reportedly to be a victim, was in fact, one of the suspects. The suspect entered the home posing as a friend and used his access to coordinate the robbery with the others allegedly involved.

Dubs admitted to his involvement in the case and accepted a plea agreement. As part of the agreement, he must truthfully testify at Flygare’s trial.  Dubs is scheduled to be sentenced in February and is facing a maximum sentence of 15 years.
