A 35-year old man and a 38-year old woman from North Branch were interviewed by police today, following the execution of a search warrant at a home in the Village of North Branch
Lapeer County Sheriff’s Deputies said they received information regarding illegal narcotics activity at the home and further investigation helped develop probable cause.
Deputies seized a considerable amount of cocaine with an approximate street value of $10,000. In addition to the cocaine, illegal marijuana; numerous weapons; and cash were seized during the execution of the search warrant.
The homeowners were temporarily released pending further investigation. The investigation will be presented to the Lapeer County Prosecutor’s Office for future formal criminal charges to be filed at a later date.
