(SANILAC COUNTY) — MDOT will replace the bridge deck of M-53 over the south branch of the Cass River beginning Monday, August 1. Crews will also complete preventive maintenance on M-53 over Greenman Creek. The work is expected to be finished this November. M-53 traffic will be maintained at the south branch of the Cass River via temporary traffic signals. Minimal traffic impact is expected at Greenman Creek, with work focused primarily on the underside of the bridge.
