Dillinger Ride Supports United Hospice Service

(PORT HOPE) — The annual Dillinger Ride sponsored by The Inn Between Saloon in Port Hope, raised $4,182 to support United Hospice Service of Marlette Regional Hospital and ABATE Region 7. The annual motorcycle ride fundraiser was established 12-years ago as a memorial tribute to the life of Jim Dillinger Friedland, who was a patient of hospice. His family and friends wanted to honor his memory by helping support other patients and families receiving hospice care in the Thumb. The Dillinger Ride is held each year on the Saturday before Memorial Day at the Inn Between Saloon in Port Hope.
