(SANDUSKY) — A Sandusky Schools principal is being recognized as the top Junior High School principal in the state. Steve Carlson, who is both the junior high and high school principal at Sandusky, was named Principal of the Year by the Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals. He was nominated by his staff and will represent Michigan in the National Principal of the Year nominations. Carlson will receive his special award from Wendy Zebb, MAASP Executive Director, at the March 16 Sandusky Board of Education meeting. The public is invited to attend.
