(BURTCHVILLE TOWNSHIP) — A pair of hunters discovered a human skull and several bones in St. Clair County Monday morning. Sheriff Tim Donnellon says the hunters were tracking a deer when they made the discovery on state land off of State Road in Burtchville Township, just north of Port Huron. The bones were transported to McLaren Port Huron Hospital for further analysis. No identity or cause of death is known. Investigators are checking missing person databases in an attempt to identify the person. Anyone that may have information on the case are asked to contact Detective Eric Stevens at 810-987-1726.
